IMPORTANT NOTE: Because of holidays in December, there will be no December 2013 meeting. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
The January meeting of the Twin City Tea Party will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Cornerstone's Restaurant. We will begin the year 2014 with a Candidate's Night. We have already confirmed candidate, Timothy Imholt, PhD who is challenging MA 3rd District's Niki Tsongas for her seat in the US House of Representatives. We are still working to confirm Dan Debrule from Leominster who is challenging US Representative, Jim McGovern for the 2nd MA District. This will be a big election year where we may have the opportunity to bring new voices to DC. It is important that we begin meeting these candidates to determine if they possess the values of small government, fiscal responsibility, free market principles that the Tea party movement supports. The Cornerstone Restaurant is located at 616 Central Street (Rt 12). The Twin City Tea Party is non-partisan. All are welcome to attend. There are no costs, dues or fees to attend.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: We will NOT have a December meeting due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays. See you on Monday, January 27, 2014.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!!!!!
As was discussed and voted on in our May and June 2013 meetings, the Twin City Tea Party purchased and donated several children's books to five local City/Town public libraries. Leominster, Fitchburg, Townsend, Sterling and Westminster all received the two book sets written by children's author, Amelia Hamilton. We are encouraging our little patriots and their parents to enjoy learning about our Nation and our founding fathers at an early age. Happy Reading to all!
Don't Tread on Me!
The Johnny Appleseed Festival that was held on Saturday, September 28 was a great success for the TCTP. We were busy all day, met hundreds of folks who were interested in our message and received great support from our members. Attendance at festivals and civic events is one very important way of getting our message and the truth about government out. Thank you all sincerely for your participation and help!
